Custom 304 Stainless Steel Handwashing Station Panel: From Drawing to Finished Part

When an Israeli client needed a custom stainless steel sink enclosure panel,
the project ran from a confirmed technical drawing through die tooling,
stamping, bending, and drilling — all in-house at our Xiamen factory.
Here is how we took it from flat sheet to finished part.

Project background

The client required a wall-mounted sink enclosure for commercial installation.
Key requirements included a 304-grade brushed stainless steel surface, a large
rectangular screen opening, an integrated card reader slot, and a camera aperture
— all to be produced from a single panel with no visible welds on the face.

Manufacturing process — step by step

The panel goes through five controlled stages. Use the interactive walkthrough

Bending and thickness verification

After stamping, the flat panel is transferred to a CNC press-brake. The curved
front face profile is formed in a single bending pass. A dial caliper is used
at the bending station to confirm wall thickness and bend angle against the
approved drawing — typically ±0.1mm tolerance on critical dimensions.

Assembly fit check

Before shipping the first sample, the formed panel is trial-fitted to the
inner housing. This confirms the curved face seats flush, the mounting clips
engage correctly, and the card slot aligns with the internal mechanism — all
checked against the client’s drawing before mass production approval.

Lead time and custom capability

From drawing confirmation to first physical sample: approximately 15 working
days, including die fabrication. We work directly from client-supplied DWG
or STEP files and can accommodate low minimum order quantities for custom
